My son's favorite thing to do right now is pretend to be Spiderman at bedtime. He stands on his bed waiting for Daddy to say which bad guy he is and run out the room. My crazy son then pretends to shoot out webs from his hands and jump off the bed, always declaring first "Spiderman's here!". Off he goes as Spiderman to chase down the bad guy who usually is hiding on the other side of the bed in our room or behind the arm of the couch in the spare room. Something new to me in this game of good guy vs. bad guy was revealed last night.
I'd never watched this part of hte process before, just heard it from the sanctity of my son's room since this is daddy & son time. I was told last night I had to watch this.
My son will "tie up" the bad guy in the web rope and drag him to jail in the hallway where he locks him in. He locks in the bad guy using a hand to basically put up one wall on top, one on the bottom and two on the sides of his dad. Watching this however makes it look like he's a priest blessing someone. It was so unexpected to me I laughed, doubled over with my hands on my knees.
I guess Superheroes would need preists too huh?
